Characteristic
Calcium molybdate is a white powdery crystal.The formula is CaMoO4.Soluble in inorganic acids.Insoluble in ethanol, ether or water.Like ferromolybdate and molybdenum oxide, calcium molybdate is often used as a molybdenum alloy additive in steel.
