Characteristic
Copper Germanium Selenide is generally immediately available in most volumes. High purity, submicron and nanopowder forms may be considered.
Compound Formula:CuGeSe
Molecular Weight:215.12 g/mol
Appearance:Powder, granules, or pieces
Solubility in H2O:Insoluble
Application
The most notable physical characteristics of germania (GeO2) are its high index of refraction and its low optical dispersion. These make it especially useful for wide-angle camera lenses, microscopy, and for the core part of optical fibers. Germanium-on-insulator substrates are seen as a potential replacement for silicon on miniaturized chips.
