A special type of bronze in which zirconium is the main alloying element. A small amount of zirconium is sometimes added to increase strength. Common brands are QZr0.2 and QZr0.4. Good thermal strength and creep resistance, good plasticity and conductivity at high temperature.





Application




Mainly used for resistance welding parts, high strength electrode materials. Zirconium bronze is more and more widely used in the iron and steel industry as a supporting part of the main equipment such as smelting and rolling due to its high conductivity and ease of processing.
