Lanthanum(III) Nitrate Hydrate is a highly water soluble crystalline Lanthanum source for uses compatible with nitrates and lower (acidic) pH. Nitrate compounds are generally soluble in water. Nitrate materials are also oxidizing agents.

Application
Lanthanum(III) nitrate hydrate serves as a raw material for the electrochemical synthesis of LaMnO4, which is a thin film coating on stainless steel substrate. It is also used in preparation of La2O2S. Further, it is used in phosphors, fluorescent display tubes and heat transfer
